Ordered our wedding cake with Rude Cookies and the whole process was super smooth and easy. Had a call with Aga, who was lovely, to make the plans and the results were incredible! We went for a vanilla sponge with pistachio cream and pistachio crunch filling with white retro frosting. Every single element was delicious, absolutely beyond expectations 12/10, can’t thank Rude Cookies enough.
Lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere. The cookies were warmed up nice and soft with a nice blend of coffee to compliment. A nice quiet place to sit; perfect to catch up with friends. A dog friendly establishment with treats and accommodation of needed.
It was my first visit to this place, however, I have been following them on social media for a long time. I want to say that this is an amazing place with delicious coffee, cool rude cookies, and delicious Dubai chocolate The staff is very friendly and well-trained, and there are lots of options available, and the place is very clean! I do definitely recommend coming and trying the coffee with some rude cookies
Absolutely loved this place. Visited after seeing their TikTok. The cookies and the decor are rude but the staff wonderfully friendly. Coffee is brilliant too.
From the moment we chose our wedding venue, there was no question—we wanted Rude Cookies to create our dream cake. And they delivered beyond expectations. Magda and Aga are truly exceptional at what they do. Their passion and attention to detail were evident from our very first meeting, and we knew instantly that we had made the right decision. Aga’s enthusiasm matched ours, making the entire process a joy. The hardest part? Choosing the flavours—because every single option was irresistible. We went with Dubai Princess (because, honestly, I’m a pistachio fanatic), Tea Sponge with Caramel and Biscoff Crunch (absolute perfection), and for the top tier, Lemonade and Raspberry, with jam so good it deserves its own fan club. The team went above and beyond to accommodate us, even waiving additional costs for premium ingredients. Then came the presentation—more elegant and breathtaking than we could have imagined. We had a vision, and they brought it to life with stunning artistry, even incorporating delicate, artistic outlines into the design. The sugar cookie favors? Spot-on, perfectly matching our cake, piped with the most stylishly rebellious “F***ing Finally.” We also commissioned a hand-painted cookie of our celebrant as a special gift, and the attention to detail was nothing short of extraordinary. Every brushstroke was perfect, capturing even the delicate stars she meticulously paints into her makeup. A breathtaking piece of edible art—outstanding! Yes, Rude Cookies gets attention for their pricing—but let me be clear: worth every single penny. The staff are wonderful, the cakes and cookies are divine, and the matcha? Next level. If you haven’t tried their Dubai Chocolate or Crunch Pots, do yourself a favor and indulge. Without a doubt, we’ll be back for our first anniversary cake. The highest praise for a bakery that turns desserts into works of art.
I'll be honest, I wasn't fussed with having a wedding cake - I've never eaten the cake at any wedding I've been to and just assumed it would be the same for others at my own wedding. But my now husband very much wanted a cake and Rude Cookies absolutely nailed it. We came with a vague idea of what we wanted - something traditional looking with the victorian piping, in white with some colours to match my dress, and with some fun flavours - and Rude Cookies took our starter ideas and smashed it! We went for the victorian sponge, the lemon raspberry and a custom chocolate and biscoff, and well... it was demolished by our guests at the wedding! We have had nothing but complements on the cake, both for design and tasting. The team at Rude Cookies were so easy to work with and everything was seamless including venue delivery for us. They completely proved wrong my initial thoughts about the wedding cake and it was well worth it. Would absolutely recommend them for any occasion cake! We have visited the Shawlands cafe a few times and their other coffee and cookies are just as fun and delicious!
I’ve purchased a few times — both online for delivery to London and in-store for Saturday exclusives (iykyk). Cookie and chocolate deliveries to London always come quickly and intricately packaged, so everything was always intact. In-store experiences were good; got to try their drinks, cakes and chunky cookies, which were such a treat. Dad enjoyed their toilet art, too. Yes, they are expensive, but it’s art. I literally have some of my fave rude cookies on a mantelpiece.
Massive talent going on here and such a fantastic, unique business in Glasgow! The sugar cookies are a work of art, so funny and well made, and they make wonderful gifts to make your loved ones laugh. The stuffed cookies are absolutely delicious and huge. I ordered a wedding cake from them as the cakes look out of this world, it was a beautiful cake.and everyone loved it, super colourful and unique, with the best icing and flavours (lemon and raspberry sponge)
